Private Attorneys General Act

​The Law Offices of Connor W. Olson has significant experience handling representative actions under California's Private Attorneys General Act ("PAGA"), which allows employees to bring representative claims for violations of nearly any California Labor Code statute.  Under PAGA, employers are penalized anywhere from $100 to $1,000 for every violation per employee.  According to PAGA, 75% of all penalties are paid to the state and 25% goes to the aggrieved employees.
